Faced with challenges of low conversion and activation rates, an outdated design, and incomplete representation of services and devices, our project aimed to revitalize Hearing And Audiology's online presence by implementing a comprehensive redesign strategy.

Addressing the outdated information and optimizing the user experience, our approach involved breaking down the project into distinct subtasks, ultimately enhancing the website's effectiveness in conveying the clinic's offerings and driving user engagement.

The Design Process

Research
We engaged in comprehensive research. This involved conducting interviews, analyzing the client's existing data, and reviewing their prior research. Additionally, a competitor snalysis was performed to gain valuable insights.

Define & Ideate
We outlined the entire end-to-end process. This encompassed the creation of personas, design principles and the new personality for the product. We collaborated with the client, engaging in an ideation process – we collectively brainstormed and conceptualized the website features.

Create UI
Beginning with conceptual sketches, we refined and iterated upon the designs through collaborative sessions with the client, ultimately arriving at the final UI.

Test Website
Usability tests were conducted to ensure an optimal user experience. Post the development process, we gathered analytical data using tools such as Posthog and Google Analytics to further refine the website.

Develop
Leveraging insights from the five usability tests, we proceeded to develop the website, ensuring alignment with the defined objectives.

Make Changes
Throughout the entirety of the project, a dynamic approach was maintained. Multiple adjustments and iterations were made to enhance and refine various aspects of the project, contributing to its overall success.

In the foundational stage of our project, the User Research phase played a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of the needs and expectations of our target audience. Through a multifaceted approach, we gleaned valuable insights by conducting user interviews, leveraging the client's existing user research, and analyzing their analytical data to gain a better understanding of user behavior and needs.

I needed a website that could provide clear information about hearing aids and services. The ability to easily navigate and find relevant details was crucial for me.

Navigating a website should be easy, especially for someone with hearing challenges. The design should consider accessibility features that make information readily available without any hassle.

When I visit a hearing clinic's website, I want to see more than just services. Success stories, testimonials, and information about the professionals help me build trust and confidence in their expertise.

As someone with a busy schedule, the option to schedule appointments online is a game-changer. It saves time and ensures I don't miss out on getting the help I need.

Understanding my condition is crucial. The website should provide educational resources that explain hearing issues in simple terms, helping me make informed decisions about my health.

A user-friendly website is fantastic, but it's equally important that the content is up-to-date. Outdated information can be confusing and may impact the trustworthiness of the services offered.

The ability to ask questions or seek clarification online is valuable. Having a platform where I can connect with professionals and get prompt responses adds a personal touch to the service.

Beyond the clinical side, the website should reflect the human side of the practice. It's comforting to see that the professionals are not just experts but genuinely care about their patients' well-being.
